nevertimes's music...

I've been playing guitar for many years now. The early bands I joined were quite hard rock sounding but later mellowed into a radioheadish sound.

I now like to write dance and rock songs. Sort of somewhere in the middle. I like the disco punk funk sounds of LCD sound system, James Murphy is an inspiration. I love the raw bluesey sounds of the Black Keys and The Eagles of Death Metal simple but very effective songs. Basically I like music that can make you want to move. I'm also into meloncholic stuff like Portishead , DJ Shadow, DJ Krush and Massive attack. I love the experimental Radiohead stuff in Kid A.

I record my Fender Jagmaster guitar using a Line6 guitar port. I lay down my ideas in Ableton Live and use a few VST's like Guitar rig and Kontakt.

I formed the Nevertimes project with a couple of like minded friends in 2006.

This is a bit of a punky number. A nice simple twangy riff is the basis for this song.
